Evan Dean's original song "Roll Away The Stone" is the first single in his upcoming solo EP - this highlights Evan's singer/ songwriter influences. The upcoming EP continues in this vein adding rootsy slide blues, soul, R&B, and gritty rock tunes.
Evan Dean performs as a Solo Act, Duo, Trio and Full Band. When choosing covers, Evan brings a diversity of material to every gig. He goes from Black Crowes to Stevie Wonder to Ray LaMontagne to Otis Redding to Marvin Gaye to The Rolling Stones to Creedence Clearwater Revival. Every show is customized to the lineup of musicians, the venue, and the feel of the crowd. Previous projects include: The Flexible Collective, which produced the CD "The Don Stairs Vigil" in 1998; Ouve Azzy Runk, which produced the CD "Tree" in 2001, along with a number of live releases; The 29th Ward, which produced a self-titled hard-rock release in 2006; and Blake & Dean, an acoustic cover act.
Currently, Joe Cipollone brings spice and grit on the Keyboards and Backing Vocals. Steve Dunn brings a wealth of experience to the low end on Bass. Chris Belin rounds out the group with his no nonsense grooves and expertise as a session drummer and teacher at Chris Belin’s Traveling Drum School.
